Everything is ready from Umberto 1916. Also this year we are ready with our 2019 Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve menu. Discover our menus and how to book from Umberto 1916.

Umberto’s Menu for Christmas Eve 24/12/19 (€ 85,00)

Appointment at 8.30pm; the menu will be the traditional and typical of the Christmas Eve dinner, accompanied by excellent wines from Campania and the Neapolitan “posteggia with guitar and mandolin with classical and traditional Neapolitan folk songs

Octopus and fennel salad with Sea Algae ‘Zeppoline’ and Morzelle di Salted Cod;
Spaghetti with clams;
Sea bass fillet “crazy water” (acqua pazza) with vesuvian tomatoes and Mediterranean aromas served with Scarole (local endives) “alla Monachina” (with pine nuts, raisins and black olives);
Insalata di Rinforzo (a special Christmas neapolitan bitter-sweet salad) and small bites of salted cod fried;
Struffoli and typical Christmas cassata.

To drink: Italian Spritz – Fiano di Avellino Docg Tenuta Cavalier Pepe – Limoncello

Umberto’s Menu of New Year’s Eve Gala on 31/12/19 (€ 130,00)

Appointment at 8.30pm; the menu will be the traditional and typical of the New Year’s Eve dinner, accompanied by excellent wines from Campania and the Neapolitan “posteggia with guitar and mandolin with classical and traditional Neapolitan folk songs. 

Lightly fried cuttlefish with lemon flavoured buffalo ricotta cheese andCruncy Shrimps(fried shrimps in corn flour with Pink Cocktail sauce and lettuce)
Handmade Paccheri pasta served with squid, local red shrimps and local broccoli;
Seafood risotto – fresh shellfish, calamari & octopus from the catch of the day.
Sea bream fillet baked with lemon, thyme and green olives served with mushed potatoes & curcuma.
New years eve Pandorè – Choccolate Pandoro with gold choccolate and caramel

At the end of the dinner we suggest you go enjoy the wonderful firework show that starts around 1,00 a.m. along the seafront in Via Caracciolo, two hundred meters from Umberto.
