A lot of people are asking us what we organize for our costumers on Christmas Eve 2018 and for the New years eve Dinner: here we are, ready for every needs 🙂

Umberto’s Menu for Christmas Eve 24/12/18 (€ 80,00)

Octopus salad with Zeppoline and Morzelle di Salted Cod;
Spaghetti with clams;
Sea bass fillet “all’acqua pazza” (with cherry tomatoes and Mediterranean aromas);
Insalata di Rinforzo (a special Christmas neapolitan bitter-sweet salad);
Scarole (local endives) “alla Monachina” (with pine nuts, raisins and black olives);
Struffoli and other Christmas sweets.

To drink: Italian Spritz – Fiano di Avellino Docg Tenuta Cavalier Pepe – Limoncello


Umberto’s Menu of New Year’s Eve Gala on 31/12/18 (€ 120,00)

Appointment at 8.30pm; the menu will be the traditional and typical of the New Year’s Eve dinner, accompanied by excellent wines from Campania and the Neapolitan “posteggia with guitar and mandolin with classical and traditional Neapolitan folk songs.

Lightly fried cuttlefish with lemon flavoured buffalo ricotta cheese and Cruncy Shrimps (fried shrimps in corn flour with Pink Cocktail sauce and lettuce)
Hand made Paccheri pasta served with squid, local red shrimps and local broccoli;
Seafood risotto – fresh shellfish, calamari & octopus from the catch of the day.
Sea bream fillet baked with lemon, thyme and green olives served with mushed potatoes & curcuma and vesuvian tomatoes confit.
New years eve Pandorè – Choccolate Pandoro with gold choccolate and caramelDSC_1411

And after midnight…
Typical new year Soup dated ‘600 – Lentils and pork cotechino

Aperitivo Spritz – Fiano di Avellino Docg Terredora – Italian Spumante
The price of the dinner is € 120,00 per person including Drinks.

The Menù for children will be served at € 50,00 per kid
Parma ham and Buffalo mozzarella
Pennette or Gnocchi Sorrentina Style (with mozzarella and Ragù sauce)
Neapolitan meatballs served with meat ragu’ sauce and French Fries
New years eve Pandorè – Choccolate Pandoro with gold choccolate and caramel

At the end of the dinner we suggest you go enjoy the wonderful firework show that starts at 1,00 a.m. along the seafront in Via Caracciolo, two hundred meters from Umberto.
